    We are seeking a Network Administrator for our home office in the Galleria area of Houston, TX. This position will support existing IT infrastructure and bring new ideas to help us optimize our cloud first IT model. The Network Administrator will work closely with IT, remote offices, and service providers to design, implement, and ensure quality delivery of services.



    • Project implementations for VoIP, SD-WAN, Aruba Central Zero Touch Deploy, and other infrastructure projects
    • Design and manage buildouts of new or renovated offices
    • Design secure infrastructure to support IoT rollouts
    • Upgrade and configure firewalls to support DPI and IDS
    • Manage rollout of systems to support network high availability
    • Implement corporate and guest wifi to all locations
    • Design and rollout P2P wifi and Cellular ISP (Cradlepoint) solutions
    • Design and rollout Rasberry Pi and other network monitoring solutions
    • Serve as subject matter expert for network infrastructure – routers, switches, firewalls, ISPs, VoIP, and monitoring systems
    • Secure network by configuring VLANs, ACLs, firewalls, monitoring, and logging
    • Act as a resource for other IT group’s project rollouts
    • Vendor management

    Essential Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Background

    • Experience with SonicWALL (or Palo Alto, Meraki) and HP/Aruba switches
    • Experience running IT infrastructure projects
    • Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting network infrastructure and VoIP related issues

    Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Background

    • Knowledge and experience with cloud-based architectures
    • High availability, scalability
    • Solid understanding and experience in system/network security

    Requirements and Qualifications

    • Preference will be given to applicants who are bilingual in English/Spanish
    • 5+ years of progressive experience in network administration and architecture required
    • Preference will be given to applicants with Checkpoint admin and Azure cloud experience
    • Bachelor's degree is preferred
    • Cisco or related networking certification preferred
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to travel periodically (California, Florida, Hawaii); travel expectation less than 10%
    • Share on-call support duties.
    • Provide tier 2 support for issues escalated from the helpdesk
