We are seeking a Staff Accountant for our office in the Galleria area of Houston. In this role, you will file state sales and use tax, business license and taxes, state annual business filings, property taxes. You will also compile and prepare materials for submission to the applicable regulatory agencies. In addition, you will assist in gathering data for federal and state income taxes and external audits. Accounting areas of responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, bank reconciliations, home office bank deposits, documentary stamp tax filings and escheatment. This position will work in the Corporate Accounting Department and report to the Director of Accounting.
